Since fall is officially here, that means it's time to decorate for Halloween...right?!?!  I LOVE decorating for Halloween and put up all of my fun decorations as soon as my family will let me without pitching a fit :-D  And since I have my own little cubicle at work now, I decided I need to decorate that too!  Thanks to some inspiration from the amazing Allison Okamitsu at Nice People Stamp, I created this fun little banner to hang above a little candy dish at my desk.

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Very Vanilla, Spooky Night DSP
Ink ~ Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Pumpkin Pie
Stamp Set ~ Spooky Cat
Other Supplies ~ Black Bakers Twine, Vintage Crochet Trim, Cat Punch, Everyday Label Punch, Layering Circles Framelits

This sweet and simple little banner will be the perfect little Halloween decoration for my desk!  I am loving my new job and it's fun to have my own little space that I can make mine :-D

Next stop on the hop is Cathy...I can't wait to see what she has for us this week! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on back to the amazing Amy...I just love her style!

#tgifc126 Technique Week - It's a Fancy Fold!

Happy Friday stamping friends!

We are getting fancy over at TGIF Challenges with some Fancy Folds!
I'll be honest...my cards are typically the standard fold and far from fancy.  But I was reminded with this card just how fun the different folds can be!

I made this card for my momma's birthday, which is coming up on Monday.  I made a little gift card holder inside the second fold of the card so I can tuck her birthday gift card inside :)
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Garden Green, Very Vanilla, Painted Autumn
Ink ~ Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Cajun Crazy, Early Espresso
Stamp Sets ~ Painted Harvest, Rose Wonder
Other Supplies ~ Leaf Punch, Soft Sky Ribbon

I absolutely LOVE the sunflower image in this stamp set! The two step stamping almost makes it look 3D!

Be sure to see what the rest of the amazing TGIF design team has created and join in the fancy fold fun with us!

Happy Stamping!

Hello stampers and happy Tuesday!

Summer break has officially come to an end and I ended it on a very happy note!  I spent the weekend at Disneyland running the Disney 10K and Disney half marathon.  It was VERY hot, but the races were so much fun that we almost forgot how hot it was...ALMOST!

I have had an amazing summer with my family and enjoy many summer fun days, but I will say that I am ready for some cooler fall weather to come our way.  I think we are still a ways off from it cooling down much, but I know it's coming!

This weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge has me dreaming of fall for sure!  Look at all of these yummy fall images!
With fall comes all things pumpkin spice...my favorite!  So of course I had to make a pumpkin spice coffee card!

Paper ~ Tangerine Tango, Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Painted Autumn DSP, Vellum
Ink ~ Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Tangerine Tango, Versa Mark

#TGIFC122 Technique Challenge - Watercolor Image

Hip, hip hooray!  It's Friday, which not only means the weekend is here, but it also means it's time for an all new TGIF Technique Challenge!
This week we are watercoloring the main images we have stamped.

I have had the Rose Wonder stamp set for well over a year and this is the first time I've used it? WHY oh WHY did I wait so long!  The large rose is beautiful and was fun to watercolor.  It's a simple card, but with an image this big, you don't need much more!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Watercolor Paper
Ink ~ VersaMark, Berry Burst, Old Olive, Crushed Curry
Stamp Set ~ Rose Wonder
Other Supplies ~ White Embossing Powder, Rose Garden Thinlits, Pearl Basic Jewels

I seem to have been on a sympathy card kick lately...they are always good to have on hand, but I hope I don't have to use any of them soon!

Here's to a Happy Friday to all of you!

And, as always, happy stamping!
